Man wanted for robbing Johnstown Family Dollar, police say
JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — Johnstown police are trying to identify a man they said robbed a Family Dollar in Dale Borough.
Video shows a man entering the store and demanding money from the cash register.
The video was given to 6 News by a store employee, who said the suspect walked away with over $200 in cash.
Johnstown police said the suspect was said to have a weapon, but no weapon was shown.
Morning fire damages Amish barn in Somerset County; two sheep killed in blaze
SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Authorities say a barn burst into flames Friday morning at an Amish farm in Somerset County.
Meyersdale fire chief Mike Miller says no one was injured and the fire was put out in about 40 minutes.
Officials say the owners of the farm were able to remove nearly all the animals from the barn except for two sheep that were lost in the blaze.

UPMC responds to ER capacity concerns
ALTOONA, Pa. (WJAC) — With COVID cases rising throughout our viewing area, many hospitals have begun to divert patients away, citing capacity concerns.
However, amid rumors of overflow, UPMC Altoona says it is not one of them.
6 News spoke with the hospital’s chief quality officer Wednesday to better understand the situation.
While capacity concerns swirled over the weekend, UPMC officials swiftly crushed that rumor.
They admit to shifting around resources but are assuring the public that they are more than capable of accepting patients.

Parking spot dispute spurred fatal shooting
HOMESTEAD, Pa. (AP) — Authorities say a dispute over a parking spot apparently sparked a shooting that left one man dead and another wounded in western Pennsylvania.
Allegheny County police say Neil Chandler is charged him with criminal homicide, aggravated assault and a weapons count. It's not known if the 42-year-old Homestead man has retained an attorney.
The shooting in Homestead was reported shortly before 5 p.m. Thursday.
Authorities say both victims were taken to a hospital.
Pitt's 2017 football schedule features seven home games

Windber woman killed after being run over by her own vehicle
UPDATE | Somerset Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities are providing new details about what led to a vehicle versus pedestrian incident in Hollsopple Wednesday afternoon.
Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees says a Windber woman was killed after being run over by her own vehicle in the parking lot of Jet Beer Distributors.
Lees identified the victim as 52-year-old Lisa McKee.
Investigators say McKee reportedly exited her vehicle at the establishment and the vehicle drifted backwards and ran her over.

GLENDALE, Ariz. (TND) — A Christian leader is in critical condition after being shot in the head while preaching on an Arizona street.
Hans Schmidt, 26, was reportedly preaching from the Bible using a megaphone on a street corner in Glendale Wednesday night, something he had done many times before. Schmidt also works as the outreach director at Victory Chapel First Phoenix, a local church.
Paul Sanchez, a witness who works nearby, reportedly said he saw a car pass Schmidt while people inside screamed and cussed at him.
