HILL COUNTRY, Texas (WOAI) — The beloved Hillbillyz of Texas restaurant was destroyed by a major fire on Tuesday, according to fire crews.
Hillbillyz is located just 17 miles outside of Boerne. Several departments, including firefighters from Kendalia, Sisterdale, Bergheim, Boerne, and Waring were called to battle the blaze.
On Wednesday, Hillbillyz took to social media to thank their staff for their hard work and crews that handled the fire.
Senior prank forces closure of PA high school
Dauphin County, PA — A senior prank forced a Pennsylvania high school to close its doors on Thursday.
According to a statement from the Susquehanna Township School District, in Dauphin County, officials say the prank will require substantial clean up.
They say the school was closed for in-person learning and events out of an abundance of caution.
The statement did not go into details about the prank but only that it was widespread and there was no damage to the infrastructure.

Plum Borough, PA — Authorities say at least five people are dead following a home explosion in Pennsylvania over the weekend.

Investigators say the explosion blew out windows and doors throughout the neighborhood.
In the video, debris can be seen flying into yards and homes.
Authorities say three homes were destroyed and at least a dozen more were damaged.
Altoona man behind bars after stealing guns from inside vehicles
An Altoona man is facing multiple felony charges after being the subject of a firearm theft investigation in December.
The Altoona Police Department announced in a Facebook post the arrest of Michael Davis III, 22, who stole multiple firearms in Altoona and surrounding areas, two of them confirmed to have been stolen from inside of vehicles.
Police said a search warrant was obtained for Davis's cell phone which revealed multiple photos of Davis posing with the stolen firearms.

Study finds majority of Americans at risk of a heart condition
WASHINGTON (TND) — Anew study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association found that a majority of American adults are at risk of developing heart disease.
The condition behind the risk is called cardiovascular-kidney metabolic (CKM) syndrome, which is the overlap of cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, type 2 diabetes and obesity. According to the study, 90% of adults over the age of 20 may have it, which puts them at risk of developing heart diseases like stroke, heart attack or heart failure.
Woman killed after being struck by large, metal cylinder near Pittsburgh construction site
Pittsburgh (WPXI) — Authorities say one woman died in an unthinkable construction accident Friday morning in Pittsburgh.
Officials say the initial investigation indicates a large metal drum escaped a nearby construction site, rolled down the hill, broke through fencing and hit the woman on the sidewalk.
When medics arrived, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Public safety officials say the metal cylinder weighs at least one ton.
According to a public safety official, the woman was a staff member at one of the local hospitals and was with one or two co-workers when she was hit.
Berlin man accused of assaulting officer after police respond for PFA violation
Somerset Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities say a Somerset County man is behind bars after he allegedly punched a woman and kicked a police officer in the face.
Investigators say on Sunday, Windber police were called to a 17th Street home for a report of an unwanted person.
Police say 25-year-old Cameron Kenney, of Berlin, was at the home and had reportedly punched a woman there in the face the prior day.
