Images show extent of damage at jail in Massachusetts
DARTMOUTH, Mass. (WJAR) — Authorities in Massachusetts released images on Monday of extensive damage done to a housing unit at the House of Correction last week.
The images -- shared by the Bristol County Sheriff's Office -- show broken window glass, smashed television sets, appliances pulled off walls, trash strewn across the floor, as well as improvised weapons.
Sheriff Paul Heroux said Friday's disturbance began when some inmates refused to be moved another unit.
Pirates trade all-star Frazier to San Diego Padres for prospects
PITTSBURGH (WJAC) — Pittsburgh Pirates all-star second baseman Adam Frazier has been traded to the San Diego Padres for three prospects.
ESPN first reported the trade, moments later The Athletic reported some of the prospects coming to the Pirates.
Frazier was removed from the game against the San Fransico Giants as the reports began leaking out and manager Derek Shelton could be seen walking back with him into the clubhouse. A starter in the All-Star Game earlier this month, Frazier was slashing .

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Two additional suspects have been arrested in connection with an airport parking garage shooting that killed a Philadelphia police officer and wounded another, authorities announced Wednesday.
Alexander Batista-Polanco, 21, of Scranton, Pennsylvania, and Hendrick Peña-Fernandez, 21, of Pennsauken, New Jersey, were arrested on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively, First Deputy Commissioner Frank Vanore said at a news conference.
Police on Monday had said at least two other suspects were being sought as they announced the arrest of Yobranny Martinez Fernandez, 18, in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

Man charged for fatally striking PSU student with car released from jail
Centre Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities in Centre County say the man charged for killing a Penn State student with his car last month has reportedly been released from jail, despite having a $3 million bond.
Police charged 20-year-old Ahmed Alqubaisi with homicide by vehicle and involuntary manslaughter after he struck and killed a fellow international student while she was jogging on the sidewalk.

VP Harris praises cadets' sacrifice in West Point's 1st commencement speech by a woman
NEW YORK (AP) — Vice President Kamala Harris, the first woman to deliver a commencement speech at West Point, lauded graduating cadets Saturday for their noble sacrifice in serving their country, but noted they were entering an "unsettled world" because of Russian aggression and the rising threats from China.
"The world has drastically changed," Harris told the roughly 950 graduating cadets. She referred to the global pandemic that took millions of lives, as well as the fraught shifts in global politics in Europe and in Asia.

Kramer and Newman is not a Seinfeld spin-off, it's the middle infield for the 2017 Altoona Curve.
The Pittsburgh Pirates drafted shortstop Kevin Newman in the first round of the 2015 Major League Baseball draft. One round later, came second baseman Kevin Kramer.
This will be the first season they are playing together in Class AA.
