SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Authorities say a barn burst into flames Friday morning at an Amish farm in Somerset County.
Meyersdale fire chief Mike Miller says no one was injured and the fire was put out in about 40 minutes.
Officials say the owners of the farm were able to remove nearly all the animals from the barn except for two sheep that were lost in the blaze.
Investigators say the blaze started around 10:30 a.m. on Schrock Road, and the chief says the barn is repairable.
Chief Miller says the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
