CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank will be back in Johnstown on Wednesday March 10 for another drive-up food distribution at the Galleria Mall. Organizers say the event will start at noon and end promptly at 2pm.
To be guaranteed to receive food at this event you must register before 5pm on Tuesday March 9 or before all 1,200 spots are filled. If you’re interested you can visit the food banks website here to register for to get food assistance.
Each vehicle will receive one food share and organizers say that’s about 50 pounds of food. This is the second largest food distribution the food bank has held since they started these events last spring. Organizers say they’ve seen the need for food grow throughout the pandemic.
