Members of the Faith Baptist Church in Altoona are getting ready to host their first ever live nativity.

It features real people portraying the roles of those involved in the story of the birth of Jesus Christ.

Visitors to the display will start at the Faith Baptist Church, located on 40th Street, where they will receive popcorn and hot chocolate and a QR code to use on their phones to listen to audio that accompanies the production.

Then, they will proceed through the nativity’s four scenes, which winds through Highland Park, while enjoying it from the warmth and comfort of their own cars.

The event, which runs nightly from the 14th through the 16th, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., is free for all who wish to attend.

They will also have live animals there to help add to the realism of the Christmas story.
