Four women from Westmoreland County have been charged after police say they stole nearly $2,000 worth of items from an Altoona Boscov's.

According to the Logan Township Police Department, Courtney Jording, Terra Irwin, Melissa Irwin and Maryah Irwin entered the Boscov's on Falon Lane with empty bags Thursday.

Police say the four women then put 59 items worth a combined $1,948.90 into their bags and left the store.

A store employee told officers that she was watching the four women through surveillance cameras.

The four women are facing retail theft and criminal conspiracy charges.
